adopt a holistic approach to environmental management. We recognize that the changes we want to create start with us, and we want our own Environmental and Energy Management System and Chemical Management Policy to be a part of these changes. To be a better solution partner for you, we train and develop ourselves and set goals.
We periodically review our Environmental and Energy Management System and try to improve our environmental and energy performance by taking action according to changing conditions.
We increase our employees' awareness by providing periodic training on environmental and energy responsibility. By following scientific research and technological developments, we prevent environmental pollution and continuously improve our environmental performance. We take precautions against the environment in our future production processes, consider energy usage as a “national value” and aim to use it efficiently. We provide all the necessary information and resources to achieve our Energy and Environment goals. We design efficiency-enhancing projects and put them into practice. We contribute to re-rooting nature and supporting sustainable living by continuously improving our energy efficiency.
Our Energy Efficiency Precautions
- We consume 1 kW/kg of energy.
- 8000m2 area was covered with solar panels. In this way, we will be able to produce 15% of energy ourselves.
- For compressed air production, 2 compressors with high energy efficiency were purchased in 2021. Thus, an advantage of 4-6% was achieved in electricity compared to old compressors. 1 more was purchased in 2022, and a total of 3 compressors are used.
- The electrically heated sanforizers used in the facility were converted to steam-heated systems, thus providing an advantage in electricity consumption.
Chemical Management Policy
As Nuryıldız, while we carry out our Knitting, Dyeing, Finishing, and Digital Printing activities, in chemical management; We promise to comply with all national and international laws and regulations regarding the purchase, transportation, storage, and use of chemicals that we will use during our production and disposal of hazardous wastes that will occur after use, and to meet customer expectations in this regard.
Our Environmentalist Attitude in Fuel Use
Another area of prevention for a greener future and a cleaner environment is fuel use. We are developing the energy goals we have taken to prevent excessive fuel consumption in the production processes by believing in our own owners before the production and development that we want to create in our environment and our world. As a part of these projects;
- We begin to burn biomass in a solid fuel boiler to reduce our use of natural gas.
- We consume 1 m3/kg of natural gas.
- We purchased a SANTEX dryer to reduce natural gas consumption in the fabric drying section. As a result, we aim to reduce the drying cost of the machines by 10-15% compared to ram machines.
